The event, known for its focus on high-quality coffee, featured immersive sessions including coffee platter tastings, coffee cupping, and coffee brewing workshops.
During the event, Meenal Shejwar, founder of Cafe Amado, shared the cafe’s meticulous approach to selecting its coffee beans. “We have always made trips to the farms and followed a rigorous vetting process to finalise the beans we eventually serve at the cafe. It’s a week-long effort by the team, and we felt that bringing these high-quality beans to Bhopal deserved to be celebrated with the city’s coffee lovers,” said Shejwar. The event also featured Nirupam Rajan, co-founder of BerryCo ( renowned coffee brand based in Chikmagalur) and a certified SCA Roasting professional. Rajan, who holds prestigious Q Grader certifications for both Arabica and Robusta awarded by the Coffee Quality Institute, USA, provided expert insights as a specialist. He has also served as a jury member at several Barista Championships across the country. As part of its commitment to supporting smaller-scale farmers producing world-class coffee, Cafe Amado partnered with BerryCo, for this year’s lot of beans.
